A terrific yarding of Red Angus females from the Bandeeka stud went under the hammer in Boyanup recently to see a high of $2800 achieved on an interstate bid.At the close of the sale 33 of the 36 head offering had sold to an $1123 average and gross of just over $37,000
It was a forced sale for the stud due to increased grazing pressure as a result of the acquisition of 50 Ferndale stud females.
The cows and heifers on offer were the Liveringa matrons the Bandeeka stud purchased at dispersal four years ago which had gone on to produce some top progeny.
